Mission and Goals of Woburn Public Schools Instrumental Music
		Mission
			The mission of the Woburn Public Schools Instrumental Music program is to provide an environment for and support the development of children into successful and happy adults through participation in the performing arts.
				Goals
					1. To teach performance skills and help students achieve excellence in music performance. 2. To help students attain a greater understanding and appreciation of music in world around them. 3. To provide a forum for students to be an integral part of the artistic and community life of Woburn. 4. To provide an environment where students develop teamwork, respect, and understanding. 5. To support promotion of discipline, hard work, and practice. 6. To support the integration of music technology for the development of better performance and listening skills.
